About our Library

Shri Mahantswami Shikshan Prasark Mandal started Shri Kumarswami College in the year 1971 and Library also started in the same year. The College is multi faculty institute having three streams; Arts, Commerce and Science. The College is in Latur District (Maharashtra). As Ausa is a rural area and most of the students who come to the college belong to the economically weaker section of the society. So, Shri Kumarswami College and its Library is the boon for students in and around Ausa.

The College provides an opportunity for students by imparting higher education, which helps to bring intellectual and social parity. The College Library gives an opportunity to fulfill academic and intellectual aspirations of rural students. The Library operations are automated using SOUL 2.0 software. The Library had a collection of 51028 text books and reference books. In addition to its collection of thesis and reports are available in Library. It subscribes about 10 periodicals and 06 newspapers of state and national level both in Marathi and English.
